Leader of Opposition L K Advani and Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh will visit Mumbai tomorrow in the wake of the serial blasts in which more than 100 people have been killed and scores of others seriously injured.

While Advani would reach Mumbai directly from Ahmedabad tomorrow morning, Singh has cancelled all his other programmes and would leave for Mumbai immmediately after a prescheduled meeting of office-bearers, party sources said.

Both the leaders would visit the injured in hospitals and call on the relatives of the victims who lost their lives in the serial blasts that rocked Mumbai this evening.

The issue would also be discussed at a party meeting, party sources said.

Meanwhile, Singh condemned the blasts and appealed for calm in the face of provocation. "The central government's soft policies including repeal of POTA are responsible for the spate of terrorist incidents across the country," he told PTI.

Party vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi alleged that the "weak and soft policies" of the Centre have boosted the morale of the security forces. "The Centre should review its internal security policy and crush terrorism with an iron hand," he said.
