A total of 410 nomination papers were filed on Wednesday for the fourth phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections scheduled for April 23.
So far, 1031 nominations have been received for 57 constituencies going to polls in the fourth phase, state election commission said.
After issuance of notification yesterday, a total of 45 nominations have been filed with 34 contestants filing their papers for the April 28 polls for 58 constituencies, they said.
In the third phase after withdrawals, 863 candidates are left in the fray for April 18 polls for 57 seats.
The process of nomination and withdrawal for the first and second phase scheduled on April 7 and April 13 respectively have already been completed with 848 candidates left in the first phase and 883 in the second, they said.
