Three persons were injured in police firing in the city outskirts of Jammu on Tuesday morning, even as authorities imposed curfew like restrictions in Srinagar to prevent a rally at the historic Jamia Masjid called by the separatists.
A senior police officer said police had to open fire at stone-throwing protestors at Muthi in Jammu to disperse a mob protesting against the cancellation of forest land allotment to Sri Amarnath Shrine Board.
The injured were taken to Jammu Medical College hospital for treatment.
