Spiritual leader Dalai Lama on Saturday led an inter-faith prayer meeting at Rajghat in remembrance of Tibetans who lost their lives and injured during their recent protest against China.
Religious leaders from various sects joined Dalai Lama in the mass prayer which was held at the Mahatama Gandhi's memorial at around 8 am amid tight security.
After the prayer meeting, several Tibetans along with the religious leaders observed silence for a few minutes as a mark of respect to the victims.
Prominent religious leaders -- from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Jain and other communities -- participated in the meeting.
On the occasion, a Sikh leader presented a sword to the Dalai Lama who also received citation from other communities.
The participants also prayed for world peace.
