A team of the Anti-Terrorist Squad of the Uttar Pradesh police is in Jaipur to assist in the ongoing probe following the serial blasts in the Pink City.
"The team has already reached Jaipur to assist in the investigations and also to study the details of the blasts," ATS incharge and Inspector General of Police (Lucknow) A K Jain said on Wednesday.
"The ATS has assured all help in the investigations regarding the blasts," Jain said, adding that the details would help the state police in its investigations to work out similar cases that took place earlier.
Meanwhile, sources said that some terrorists lodged in state jails, including in Lucknow, were being interrogated to elicit information which could help in the investigations.
The state home department has already issued a red alert following the serial blasts and directed all district authorities to maintain utmost vigil and carry out necessary checks at crowded places.
