Former Pondicherry CM joins Thirunavukkarasu's AIADMK

Former Pondicherry chief minister S Ramaswamy, who was with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam led by J Jayalalitha, joined the rebel AIADMK led by S Thirunavukkarasu on Friday in Madras.

Talking to reporters at the party office after admitting Ramasamy, Thirunavukkarasu said contrary to Jayalalitha's claim that she did not hate any former partyman, he said she was vindictive towards those loyal to the late MG Ramachandran, the party's founder.

Refuting reports that leaders from the rebel faction were going back to the parent party, he said on the contrary, people from her group were coming over to him.
