Scotland Yard awaits Nadeem's arrest warrant

Scotland Yard says it is awaiting a formal warrant to arrest music director Nadeem, charged with conspiracy in the Gulshan Kumar murder case. The arrest warrant issued by a Bombay metropolitian judge has not yet reached Scotland Yard.

Scotland Yard sources said all they have received is an international alert from Indian officials. "We are keeping a vigil on Nadeem's movements and he is still in London. All escape routes have been sealed and everybody is on alert," a Scotland Yard source said.

Nadeem has been in London for several weeks now in connection with his wife Sultana's delivery. After suffering a miscarriage last week, Sultana is now recovering in hospital. Nadeem says he is prepared to face the Bombay police after a fortnight.
