Rockers, rejoice!

June 10, 2009 11:55 IST

Rock lovers rejoice. The third compilation from Sony Music, History Rocks III boasts of a definitive classic rock collection. There's everything for everyone. Sample this: The first disc has rockers like Deep Purple (Woman From Tokyo), Heart (Barracuda), Steve Vai (Blood & Tears), Scorpions (Rock you Like A Hurricane) amd Run DMC featuring Aerosmith (Walk This Way).

After the adrenalin rush of the first disc, we come to the mellower disc 2 where Santana kicks off the proceedings with Black Magic Woman. We also have hits like Wherever You Will Go by The Calling, Travis' Why Does It Always Rain On Me? and Spin Doctors' Little Miss Can't Be Wrong.

The third disc is mish mash of songs by bands like Men At Work, Eurythmics, Bangles and of course, Bob Dylan.

There's nothing much to say about this classic, really. You've heard them all before and even though some names are missing from here (Queen, Bon Jovi, REM, Live, to name some), this compilation brings back all the nostalgia of those glorious days. Get tripping.
