Rani Mukerji to judge reality show

Actress Rani Mukerji [ Images ] has been confirmed as the second judge along with choreographer Shiamak Davar [ Images ] for the gala round of the reality show Dance Premier League on Sony Entertainment Television, after Madhuri Dixit [ Images ] Nene backed out in the last minute.

Madhuri had confirmed her participation but had to back out as she couldn't find a nanny for her children.

Dance Premier League is a unique format where teams from all zones of India [ Images ] -- North, West, East, Central, South and even one team of NRIs' -- will compete in a league format to emerge as the Champion Zone of the country.

Every team will have a unique logo, brand ambassador, cheer-leaders and slogan,

Eijaz Khan [ Images ] will be hosting the audition episodes of the show along with Sara Khan -- the beautiful actress in Bidaai -- while the gala round -- which begins much later -- will have a different male host.

Each zone will have a brand ambassador who will announce the names of the finalists of their zones. Salman Khan [ Images ] will be rooting for the North zone, Bipasha Basu [ Images ] for East and Arshad Warsi [ Images ] for South.

The production house is in talks with Preity Zinta [ Imagesand Kareena Kapoor [ Imagesfor Central and West zones respectively.

They have also approached Shah Rukh Khan [ Imagesand Kajol [ Imagesfor the NRI zone along with Katrina Kaif [ Imagesthough she is likely to back out.

Dance Premier League is produced by Cineyug, the unique reality show which brings with it a bandwagon of names from Bollywood.

Dance India Premier show goes on air on October 9, Friday-Saturday at 8 pm.
