Megan Fox: The queen of science fiction

Megan Fox has been confirmed as the queen of science fiction after being voted as the best sci-fi actress at the Spike TV Scream 2009 festival.

The event that took place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles recognised performances in the genre of sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired films and TV shows.

Fox landed with the prize for her role in Transformers [ Images ]: Revenge of the Fallen, the Daily Star reports.

The movie also received an award for special effects, apart from Isabel Lucas winning the breakout performance trophy for her role as a seductive, shape-shifting robot.

Also, vampire movie Twilight scooped four awards including best fantasy film, breakout performance for Taylor Lautner [ Images ] and best fantasy actors for stars Robert Pattinson [ Images ] and Kristen Stewart [ Images ]. 

Hollywood stars Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba [ Images ], Kate Bosworth [ Images ], Harrison Ford [ Images ], Justin Long and Christina Ricci [ Images ] were present at the event to hand out the awards.
