After 18 weeks of intense competition and entertainment, the second season of the dance reality show Dance India [ Images ] Dance has got its dancing star.
Shakti Mohan from Mumbai [ Images ] was declared the winner at a grand finale at the Andheri Sports complex in Mumbai on Friday.
She beat the other three finalists Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak and Binny Sharma at a star studded night. Dharmesh is the first runner-up, Punit was third and Binny finished fourth.
Shakti learnt professional dancing with choreographer Terrence Lewis at his academy.
She won the Sunheri Taqdeer Ki Topi (golden hat) and a Rs 50 lakh contract with the channel. She also got a key to the newly-lauched Maruti [ Get Quote ] Wagon R.
The finale was graced by Ranbir Kapoor [ Images ], Manoj Bajpai [ Images ] and Rajneeti director Prakash Jha [ Images ].
Shakti also will get the opportunity to shoot a promotional music video with Farah Khan's [ Images ] new movie Tees Maar Khan starring Akshay Kumar [ Images ] and Katrina Kaif [ Images ].
