After 18 weeks of intense competition and entertainment, the second season of the dance reality show Dance India Dance has got its dancing star.
Shakti Mohan from Mumbai was declared the winner at a grand finale at the Andheri Sports complex in Mumbai on Friday.
She beat the other three finalists Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak and Binny Sharma at a star studded night. Dharmesh is the first runner-up, Punit was third and Binny finished fourth.
Shakti learnt professional dancing with choreographer Terrence Lewis at his academy.
She won the Sunheri Taqdeer Ki Topi (golden hat) and a Rs 50 lakh contract with the channel. She also got a key to the newly-lauched Maruti Wagon R.
The finale was graced by Ranbir Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai and Rajneeti director Prakash Jha.
Shakti also will get the opportunity to shoot a promotional music video with Farah Khan's new movie Tees Maar Khan starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
