Chetan Bhagat had a war of words with the makers of 3 Idiots, when he claimed that he was not given due credit for the film's story, which was based on his bestselling book, 5 Point Someone.
Before that, the filmi adaptation of his book One Night @ The Call Centre -- called Hello -- proved to be a disaster at the box office.
But it seems that the author has not burnt his fingers yet.
Bhagat tweeted that the deal was 'done' for his latest book, 2 States, which tells the story of how he met his wife.
'Shooting early next year. They've promised a big family entertainer. Very excited. Thanks for ur support,' Bhagat tweeted.
The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand (who last gave us Anjaana Anjaani), produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and will star Saif Ali Khan. The female lead has not been decided yet.
