Playboy star rejects Bigg Boss offer

British model-actress Kelly Brook has turned down the offer to appear in Bigg Boss, the reality show to be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, despite being promised a whopping pay cheque of    18 lakh.

Brook, who is famous for her curvy figure had grabbed headlines when she netted half a million dollars after posing naked for men's magazine Playboy and had also famously stripped for her debut Hollywood movie Pirahna 3D.

Producers of the show, which airs on TV channel Colors, wanted a international star for the fourth season and were keen to sign Brook, but she turned down the offer.

"Kelly told the bosses that she is putting all her efforts into her film career in Hollywood and could not commit to the show. Bur she was flattered by the interest," said a source in the channel. The source added that the channel is now trying to line up Hollywood pin-up and Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.

Anderson who has fallen on hard times after mismanaging her funds had also appeared in the original British version of the show called Big Brother.

Earlier actress Neetu Singh and sports' A-list couple Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik had turned down the offer to be on Bigg Boss. The controversial show has earlier been hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty and Munnabhai star Arshad Warsi.

Bigg Boss revolves around celebrity contestants who are locked in a house under the surveillance of multiple cameras for three months without any contact with the outside world.
