A tired-looking Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were spotted at the entrance of the Seven Hills hospital in Marol, northwest Mumbai, where Aishwarya Rai gave birth to a baby girl early this morning.
Amitabh tweeted that he was tired. 'As I travel back from the hospital I need to thank the media for keeping their word of not intruding our privacy. Deeply obliged !'
Then, he added: 'Have been up for more than 24 hours .. Need rest.'
Aishwarya and the baby are doing well, the new father announced.
The 38-year-old actress developed labour pains around 4 am and was rushed to the labour room where the delivery took place after nearly six hours. Hospital sources said the delivery was normal.
