If reliable sources are to be believed, Boney Kapoor -- who produced Prabhudheva's first Hindi directorial venture Wanted -- has asked the director to write a women-oriented script for his actress wife Sridevi.
"After English Vinglish, Boney wants to produce a film for his wife but can't think of a script that would do justice to her," says the source. "He has asked his dear friend Prabhudheva to write and direct a film. It will not be a remake."
Prabhudheva and Sridevi recently danced together
at the IIFA awards in Macau.
Prabhu also had a special screening of Ramaiya Vastavaiya for the couple a few days before its release.
“They had to leave for the US, and wanted to watch the film before they left," Prabhudheva explained.
Prabhu is very close to the couple and in fact, lives in an apartment owned by Boney whenever he is in Mumbai.
"They are the first family I knew in Mumbai. I’d do anything for them," Prabhudheva signs off.
