First look: Arjun Kapoor's Tevar

The first look of Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Tevar is out.

Arjun Kapoor shared the official poster (left) and tweeted: 'Does this ring a bell ??? TEVAR. So guys what do u think ??? Worth the wait ???' 

Alia Bhatt, who is currently shooting for Shaandaar, congratulated the Tevar team. Tweeting a picture with Sanjay Kapoor, she wrote, 'Sanjay sir and I ;)Loving our Shaandaar #TEVAR!! #AttitudeDekh #ShowYourTevar @arjunk26 @maheepkapoor @sonakshisinha'

Directed by Amit Sharma, the film is a remake of 2003 Telugu film Okkadu and will release on January 9 2015. 

 

Hrithik meets Paris Hilton

Hrithik Roshan recently met American socialite Paris Hilton in Dubai.

He shared a picture of them together and tweeted: 'With d extremely gentle n kind hearted Paris Hilton at Cle dubai. Now that's a spot dubai needs to celebrate! Amazing.' 


Kollywood calling for Sonakshi 

Sonakshi has resumed shooting for her Tamil film Lingaa at Ramoji Film City in Mysore. 'Its time to sing and dance... In tamil!! Shooting the last song for Lingaa, royal and grand,' she wrote. 

Directed by K S Ravikumar, the film will star Rajinikanth and Anushka Shetty. Lingaa is expected to release on December 12.

 

Pooja Bhatt returns to the silver screen

Actress-turned-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who was last seen in the 2001 film Everybody Says I'm Fine opposite Rahul Bose, will grace the silver screen as a no-nonsense detective in Reema Kagti's upcoming film Mr Chaalu

Confirming the news, Pooja tweeted: 'Thrilled to be working with Reema for more reasons than one. All it took was one phone call from Ritesh, a narration & was ON!'


Parineeti Chopra falls sick

Parineeti Chopra, who has busy travelling for the promotions of her next film Kill Dil, is not well.

'fallen really sick. Been in bed all day. And i think its going to be like that for the next few days :(' she tweeted.

Kill Dil also stars Govinda, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar and will release on November 14.


Shooting over for Bangistan team

The shooting for upcoming comedy film Bangistan is over. 

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani tweeted: 'Team #Bangistan wraps principal photography.. Next phase post. Trust me @krnx this is the difficult part.. Enjoy.'

Directed by Karan Anshuman, the film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat, and Chandan Roy Sanyal.


No Homeland for Rahul Khanna

Actor Rahul Khanna, who is currently promoting his next film Fireflies, took to Twitter to clear the air that he is not a part of Homeland.

'Last week, a newspaper misquoted me as saying I was working on the TV show Homeland. For the record, I am not!' he tweeted.

Fireflies, also starring Monica Dogra, will release on October 31.

 

On the sets of Hawaizaada

Ayushmann Khurrana is shooting for the last schedule of Hawaizaada.

He shared a picture of himself with co-star Pallavi Sharda and tweeted: 'Last schedule of film/plane making with lovely @pallavisharda.'  

Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film is based on the life of eminent Maharashtrian scientist Shivkar Talpade.


Nargis asks fans to donate

Actress Nargis Fakhri, who will celebrate her birthday on October 20, is campaigning to help raise funds for Kashmir flood victims.

'Want to wish me Happy Birthday? Here's what you can do- join me in raising funds for JK flood victims,' she tweeted.
