The Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra hopes to enact a law to make it mandatory for multiplexes in the state to screen Marathi movies during the prime time slot of 6 to 9pm.

Hindi remake of Traffic to release on September 15
Director Rajesh Pillai, who made the Malayalam movie Traffic, has started shooting for the Bollywood version of the film.
Divya Dutta, who is acting in the film, tweeted : ‘Hindi Remake of Malayalam sleeper hit Traffic to hit the screens on 15th of September.’
The film will also star Manoj Bajpayee.

Actress Paoli Dam is currently shooting for Jayasree Bhattacharya’s upcoming Bengali film Take Care in Sikkim.
