Film stars often find themselves in the midst of linkup rumours around film releases.
Even more so when the stars in question are debutants working together in their launch vehicle.
Latest to hit the rumour mills is Nikhil Advani's Hero that stars Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty in lead roles.
According to news from certain quarters, Sooraj and his onscreen lady love Athiya had to sign a “no dating clause” before they were signed on for Hero.
But a friend of Sooraj laughs it off.
“It’s the most ridiculous contract clause I have ever heard of.
“Sooraj didn't show the slightest inclination to date Athiya before, during or after the shooting of Hero. After the tragic death of his girlfriend Jiah Khan, he doesn’t even contemplate dating. He is wary of getting into another relationship.”
Meanwhile, Hero director Nikhil Advani has this to say, “I don’t know where these stories come from. There isn’t the slightest truth in it.
“I was with Salman Khan (the film’s producer) and he was like, ‘Huh?’ We don’t care what actors do off the movie sets.”
