Kanchanamala reacts to Siddique’s criticism

Kanchanamala

This year’s blockbuster hit Ennu Ninte Moideen is based on the amazing love story of real life couple Moideen and Kanchanamala.

Their romance was opposed by their families and society, as they belonged to different religions. When they finally decided to tie the knot, Moideen died while trying to save the lives of a few who were drowning.

Kanchanamala still lives at Mukkom in Kozhikode.

Recently, in an interview to a film magazine, actor Siddique criticised some of Kanchanamala’s comments and said that their love story is not as great as it is made out to be.

Kanchanamala, in a befitting reply, said that she believes in loving a single person in life and she will be Moideen’s wife forever. Kanchanamala said that she did not want to waste her time replying to critics.

Jewel Mary clarifies her statement

Jewel Mary

Anchor-turned-actor Jewel Mary was in the midst of a controversy following her comment that she had opted out of the Jayaram-starrer Aadupuliyattam, as she didn’t find the script interesting.

This made the producers of the film furious and they retorted that she was actually thrown out of the project.

Later, Jewel came up with a clarification that she did not blame the hero or the script and was actually misquoted.
