British actress Amy Jackson, whose latest Tamil film is getting rave reviews, thanked her fans on Twitter.

She shared a picture (left) and tweeted: 'Goodmorning Tweetypies... The best gift that I've been given this Pongal is 'I', so I'm spending my day with Mum & Dad in the cinema. Iniya Pongal Nalvazhthukkal.'

Praising her co-star Vikram, she added: 'The past 2 and a half years have been incredible working with two living legends @shankarshanmugh and @pcsreeram #I Sharing screen space with Vikram has been absolutely incredible - he's the most inspiring actor out there!'

 

Happy birthday Neil Nitin Mukesh!

Neil Nitin Mukesh, who made his debut in Bollywood with Johny Gaddaar, celebrates his birthday 33rd birthday on January 15.

Farhan Akhtar wished him and wrote: 'Happy birthday @NeilNMukesh .. Wish you a super year. Love and best wishes always.'

Abhishek Bachchan tweeted: 'Happy birthday @NeilNMukesh have a super year. Big hug.'

Neil will be next seen in the Salman Khan-starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.


Hrithik Roshan completes 15 years in Bollywood

Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai recently completed 15 years and its star Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to thank his fans.

'Cinema sees me 15yrs old. Thank u 4 reminding me about d potential that lies ahead! Let's grow 2gether. Everyday! Thank u. Love u,' Roshan posted.

Hrithik is currently working on Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming period film Mohenjo Daro, which will release on August 12, 2016.

Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush, and Akshara Haasan recently visited Ahmedabad to promote their upcoming film Shamitabh.

Dhanush shared a picture (above) and tweeted: 'Such an amazing and blissful experience here in Ahmedabad !! Festive mood. Sky full of kites. #Shamitabhpromotions'  

Amitabh Bachchan added: 'Ahmedabad .. kite flying, the warmth of millions on the roads, terraces, press meets, more flying kite, back home ..! Isse Kehtehain Promotion !!'

Shamitabh will release on February 6.

Director Nikhil Advani has started working on his next film Katti Batti. He shared pictures from his recent look test with actors Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut. 

Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures, the love story is scheduled to release on September 18.


Hema Malini: I've choosen a new career in politics now

Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini, who received Lifetime Achievement Award at the recently-held Life OK Screen Awards, tweeted her gratitude.

'This award is truly dear to me as Screen is one of the earliest Film mags to be published. They have always encouraged me in my career. It was a real pleasure to attend the function & to be honoured among all the shining new stars of today who were in full attendance. Shahrukh, who is very special to me always, even danced with me on the stage! On the whole, a lovely experience which I will always treasure,' she wrote.

'Looking bk over the years, it is the film industry which has given me name & fame here & all over the world & sustains it even today. Today, whn my career has taken a diff turn & I am into the world of politics,I am still known & recognised as a film star thks to my movies. I can never forget the warmth of this film industry where I grew up & spent the best years of my life - I have a lot to be grateful for! I take ths opportunity to thank each one of u on Twitter for ur best wishes & congratulations. Without u, my fans, I would not be where I am,' she added.

'Thank u all for ur continued support & love tho' my films are now v few & far between & I have chosen a new career in politics now. Please give me ur continued support & love - without it, I will be nothing! Thank u all once again. Love u all,' she signed off.
