The Get Hard posterIf recent reports are to be believed, Warner Brothers has decided to withhold the release of their new comedy Get Hard rather than take the cuts ordered by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

But a senior member of the CBFC rubbishes the reports.

"The film has not even been submitted for censoring as yet. In fact, we are viewing Get Hard soon and may pass the film with nominal cuts," says the source.

According to reliable sources in the CBFC, Warner Brothers has apparently taken offence to their film’s fate being clubbed with that of Fifty Shades Of Grey in which the CBFC asked for some cuts.

Says the CBFC member, “Fifty Shades Of Grey is an erotic film. We have asked for some cuts and we’re waiting for the producers (Universal India) to re-submit the film after the cuts. There is nothing risqué or sexy about Get Hard except the title."

In fact, Warner Brothers has gotten in touch with the CBFC requesting for an appointment. The request from Denzil Dias, Vice President and Managing Director of Warner Pictures India, says, 'We have not made any statement to the press' while requesting for a meeting.
