Check out the star arrivals.

The air must have felt rather odd at Olive Bar & Kitchen in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb, where Deepika Padukone -- looking gorgeous in white -- hosted a party to celebrate the success of her newest film, Piku.

While her film has been going strong at the box office, Dips' former flame Ranbir Kapoor (who she's on friendly terms with) starrer Bombay Velvet bit the dust (and how!) upon release just last weekend.

Also, Deepika's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani costar Kalki Koechlin attended the party too, whose divorce with a reportedly depressed Anurag Kashyap (who was also at the party!) came through the same day.

Bombay Velvet and its team's misfortune aside, tons of A-list stars arrived to party with Deepika. Take a look:

Deepika's Happy New Year costar Shah Rukh Khan arrives in black.

Dips' rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh cozies up to his Dil Dhadakne Do director Zoya Akhtar.

Karan Johar, who plays a central character in Bombay Velvet, catches up with Zoya.

Irrfan Khan, who plays the suave Rana in Piku, is pleased as punch while director Shoojit Sircar looks like he can't wait to get to the party!

Deepika's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani director Ayan Mukherjee shows Farah Khan how posing for shutterbugs is done, at the Olive entrance.

Siddharth Malhotra and Sonu Sood jump the summery white bandwagon for the star-studded party.

Shahana Goswami (left) strikes a pose with Shruti Seth and her director husband Danish Aslam.

Vishal and Rekha Bharadwaj arrive with son Aasmaan.
