In a series of tweets, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma wrote: 'If Aamir, Sharuk and Salman the three biggest stars of the Hindu country "India" are Muslims, I don't understand where intolerance is ?
'In a predominantly Hindu country, if 3 Muslims can become the biggest iconic super stars that itself proves the majority aren't intolerant. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who recently launched a media campaign against Hepatitis B, recalled how he contracted the disease.
He posted pictures on Facebook and wrote: 'Launched the Hepatitis B campaign with the Govt of India and UNICEF, by becoming appointed its Ambassador.'
'As many know I am a Hep B sufferer .. I am surviving on just 25% of my liver ... 75 % was attacked and eaten by blood during its transfusion during 'Coolie' Accident .. collective 60 bottles of blood was given to me .. one donor was infected with Hep B virus and it went into my system and has damaged my liver 75%.'
