All eyes were on Kamal Haasan as he met up with spiritual guru and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Haasan is reported to have been invited by the spiritual guru himself to his ashram in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The veteran actor's visit to the ashram raised a lot of speculation considering his atheistic views.
While the reason for the meeting has not been disclosed, it is believed that Sri Sri wanted to congratulate the actor on being chosen as the Brand Ambassador from Tamil Nadu for serving Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The actor's Twitter fan page released pictures from the meeting recently.
Haasan was also a part of the banquet hosted by President Pranab Mukherjee recently in New Delhi for the ambassadors of the Clean India Campaign.

Shruthi Haasan joins the cast of Singam 3
Meanwhile, Haasan Jr, Shruthi has been signed on to be a part of the third Singam movie in a significant role along with Anushka Shetty, who is reprising her role.
With the pre-production work already in full swing, the shooting is likely to begin by November this year.
Both the previous Singam films turned out to be major blockbusters and Suriya, as the righteous cop Duraisingam, was a huge hit.
The film was later remade in Hindi as Singham and Singham Returns with Ajay Devgn essaying the lead role.
Singam 3 is expected to be even grander in scale.
Youth sensation Anirudh Ravichandran has been roped in to compose the music.

Vairamuthu's award-winning novel will have 23 translations
National award-winning lyricist Vairamuthu's novel, Kallikaatu Idhikasam, that won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2003, will soon be translated into 23 Indian languages.
More than one lakh copies of the book have already been sold since its release.
Kallikaatu Idhikasam narrates the heart-wrenching tale of marginal farmers from the Theni belt in Tamil Nadu, who were evacuated during the construction of the Vaigai dam.
In a statement released to the press, the lyricist confirmed that the book will be translated into English and 22 other languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odiya , Punjabi, Telugu and Sanskrit.
