Shahid Kapoor, who is playing a rockstar in Udta Punjab, shared his first look on Twitter, above, and wrote: ‘Milna Hain Tommy Singh se ?’

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film revolves around drug abuse in Punjab and how it resulted in a socio-economic decline.

Also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Alia Bhatt, the film will release on June 17.

After a biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Mohammad Azharuddin, get ready for a film on Sachin Tendulkar.

Ranveer Singh shared the teaser poster of the film, above, and wrote: ‘Proudly presenting my bro Ravi's maiden venture!!! The Master Blaster's path to glory #SachinTheFilm.’

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is eager to watch the film. ‘This one I have to watch. Show me NA soon my friend,’ Shah Rukh tweeted.

Directed by award-winning British director James Erskine, the teaser of the film will release on April 14.

Director Ram Gopal Varma says his next Hindi film Veerappanisn’t a remake of Kannada thriller Killing Veerappan.

He shared the first poster of the film, above, and wrote: ‘Not a remake of Kannada superhit "Killing Veerappan" completely Remade in Hindi as a biopic.’

‘He killed 97 policemen,184 people and 900 elephants..734 crores were spent to capture him. Considering there's no organisation behind him he was the deadliest criminal in the whole world. The hunt for him involved Forest department,Border security forces nd 1200special task force ppl. Search for him took 20yrs across borders of 3states in a jungle spanning 16000square kilometers,’ he wrote in a series of tweets.

Based on the life of the famous sandalwood smuggler Veerappan, the film will release on May 27.
