Salman KhanWhen the world woke up to the delights of Jon Favreau’s Jungle Book on Friday, Salman Khan was also at a theatre with his brother Sohail.

What Salman had not anticipated was the presence of the electronic media asking what he thought of the film. But the actor refused to oblige.

Says a friend of the star, "Someone had tipped off the press that Salman was going to a theatre to watch Jungle Book. We don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out which element stood to gain if Salman recommended the film."

"But he hates being used for publicity. Ask nicely, he will do anything. When Salman realised that the press had been told he was watching Jungle Book, so he recommend the film, he was upset and refused to talk about it."

Apparently, Salman didn’t even pose for pictures in front of the film’s poster because for him, it was just an outing with his brother.
