Harshvardhan Kapoor in MirzyaHarshvardhan Kapoor has reportedly treated his two characters in his debut feature film Mirziya as two different films.

Says a source close to the project, "Since the two roles he plays in Mirziya are not connected, Harshvardhan worked on the characters as though they belonged to two different films. He developed a different body language and speech pattern for both the characters."

Interestingly, there are no dialogues for Harshvardhan's Mirziya.

"The entire saga of Mirziya and his ladylove Sahibaan unfolds without dialogues. Throughout the shooting of the love story, no words were exchanged between the two lovers, played by Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher," says the source.

"He was not required to speak lines on camera, so Harshvardhan decided to stay mum off camera as well. The love story unfolds through Gulzar saab's poetry and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's songs," says the source.

"I can't reveal too much about my role in Mirziya but yes, it is a double role," Harshvardhan confirms. "My director Rakeysh Sir (Omprakash Mehra) and I treated the characters as two unrelated persons. It was like doing two different films. So technically, I've done two films with one of the best directors of the country, and am eager to do a third."

Mirziya will release on October 7.
