Saira Banu: Dilipsaab needs rest and peace

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who has been associated with a 18-year-old court case, will be facing the judgment on February 23 at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court.

His wife Saira Banu took to Twitter to express her concern: ‘Breaks my heart to inform @TheDilipKumar fans. tomm, Tuesday, 18-yr-old court case in which Saab has been associated, will be up for judgement hearing at 14 Met. Magistrate court, Girgaum, presided by Hon. Magistrate BS Kharade.’

‘At 94 yrs, Saab's health is delicate, facing neurological problems, yet Saab has never prayed for case adjournment. Hope serious consternation n stress caused don't affect his condition further. Saab needs peace n rest. I seek your prayers n support,’ she added.

After the success of her debut production NH10Anushka Sharma is all set to set to produce her next film Phillauri.

Confirming the news, Anushka tweeted: ‘Happy 2 announce our next production venture - PHILLAURI, with @foxstarhindi & costarring @diljitdosanjh, Suraj Sharma.’

Directed by Anshai Lal, the film will feature Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma.

Amitabh Bachchan, who made his acting debut with Khwaja Ahmad Abbas' 1969 film Saat Hindustani, took a trip down memory lane, as he shared an old photograph.

‘This the picture I sent to Filmfare Madhuri Contest to join films .. is it any wonder they rejected me !!’ the 73-year-old actor tweeted.

Filmfare-Madhuri Contest was a talent hunt competition for aspiring actors in the late 1960s. Ironically, Big B was also rejected by All India Radio as an RJ.

Neerja Bhanot’s classmates thank Sonam Kapoor

Sonam showed off a signed T-shirt gifted to her by Bombay Scottish School's Class of 1978, above, and wrote: ‘Ram this is all you.. Thank you for making me an honorary alumni.. I humbly accept this beautiful tribute to #neerja by her pals of #bombayscottish class of '78 .. This has truly truly moved me.’

The film is based on the life of Neerja Bhanot, who was shot dead by terrorists, who hijacked the Mumbai-New York flight at Karachi on September 5, 1986.
