Hrithik RoshanThere have been reports about Hrithik Roshan signing a historic deal with a channel for Rs 550 crore, which gives the channel the rights to broadcast his next six movies.

When the report first appeared in a tabloid, sources close to the development were quoted as saying, "The actor has signed a Rs 550-crore deal which takes off next year, for the satellite rights of his next six films."

But turns out this report is only partially true.

The actor has not just signed a Rs 550 crore deal but is actually going into partnership with the channel Star India for his forthcoming films.

The partnership starts with the actor’s upcoming film Mohenjo Daro, which opens on August 12.

Also, Hrithik’s historic collaboration with Star India is for five films and not six as reported.

The partnership will extend to Hrithik’s home production Kaabil, which is being directed by Sanjay Gupta.

Since Hrithik has not signed any other film at the moment, his partnership with Star India, as of now, is valid for only two films.
