Salman Khan is on an alcohol sabbatical.
Though the superstar has been following the no-drinking mantra, this time his phase will last longer, for almost a year.
Well, the Dabangg hero is shooting for Sultan and has to therefore stay away from alcohol.
Says a source close to the project, "The role requires a huge physical discipline. Salman has to train rigorously to look like a wrestler and to stay in shape, he has been advised an alcohol-free diet until the shooting is over."
According to a close friend of the superstar, Salman is off-alcohol most of the time.
"About 10 years back, he went through a prolonged phase of drinking. Mercifully, that phase ended. Salman is now alcohol-free most of the time. He only has that occasional glass of wine and even that he has stopped completely now to stay detoxified while he shoots for Sultan," says the riend.
