KshanamProducer-turned-director Sajid Nadiadwala has bought the Hindi remake rights of the new Telugu blockbuster Kshanam.

The film tells the story of an NRI (Adivi Shesh), who returns to India to search for his ex-girlfriend’s missing daughter.

The deal between Nadiadwala and the Telugu producers was closed last week.

"I keep an eye on cinema in all languages, but not of Hollywood films," Sajid said.

"There are so many exciting films being made in languages all over India. I try to watch as many of the new releases as possible. That’s how I saw Kshanam. I loved the way the story moved to an inevitable but unpredictable finale."

Sajid will make a formal announcement soon.

Right now he is pleasantly shocked by the response to the trailer of his new film Baaghi.

"To see Tiger (Shroff) evolve so effectively from his debut film to his second film gives me a very paternal feeling. I am proud of him. I hope Baaghi is a success for the sake of Tiger, Shradha Kapoor and director Sabbir Khan. All of them have worked really hard," added Sajid.
