French actress Marion Cotillard, who was rumoured to be having an affair with Brad Pitt, has spoken out on Instagram to clarify the issue, after the news about Brangelina's splitsville started trending.
The 40-year-old actress posted a lengthy Instagram message to make her pregnancy announcement and dispel rumours on Wednesday, reports the Daily Mail.
The Academy Award winner revealed that she is pregnant with her second child and wished Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie 'peace in this very tumultuous moment.'
Her Instagram message read:
'This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into. I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up.
'Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need. Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn't distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery.
'Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion.'
Meanwhile, an insider is reported to have told that Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston commented, 'Yeah, that's karma for you' after it was announced that Jolie had filed for divorce, reports Us Weekly.
According to the insider, the Friends star saw the impending divorce of Pitt and his second wife as 'karma' for what happened to her 11 years ago.
Aniston married Pitt in 2000 and publicly split in 2005 following complications, which started after Brad started working with Jolie in Mr And Mrs Smith.
Brangelina have six children together -- 15-year-old Maddox,12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10- year-old Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox, aged eight.
Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from her husband on September 19 on the grounds of irreconcilable differences and for the health of her family. She has additionally asked for physical custody of their six children.
