Day 37 in the Bigg Boss house was quite volcanic.
The anger the housemates have been nursing against each other over the last few weeks resulted in dramatic explosions.
The more popular characters in the house took a backseat, while those who don’t normally get much airtime came to the fore.
The day’s fight got out of hand, with an agitated Puneesh Sharma accusing Benafsha Soonawala of lying and maligning his reputation on national television.
Priyank Sharma, as usual, stepped in and, for a while, it looked as if fisticuffs would ensue.
Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta kept surprisingly calm, even after Hina Khan repeatedly tried to instigate Shilpa.
Today’s episode didn’t have a task, but it had all the masala leading to tomorrow’s task.
Highlights
Akash Dadlani begins tonight’s episode by pulling a prank on lovebirds Puneesh and Bandgi Kalra, which they don’t like and warn Akash against repeating ever again.
Hina, doing what she does most effectively, continues to criticise almost everyone in the house.
Benafsha loses her patience, and loses it spectacularly. She pulls Akash's hair, which is certain to get her into trouble.
Finally, after more than a month, Bandgi shares her point of view.
Akash remains the person he is, holding no grudges and entertaining everyone.
Hina gives Priyank an elaborate presentation about how exactly Puneesh and Bandgi were sharing a bed.
Kurukshetra
Benafsha is angry and the whole house hears it!
She takes on Akash, who had apparently made an unsavoury comment about her physical attributes a few weeks ago, and starts stalking him even in the washroom.
Hina continues to smartly provoke others to fight her battles in the house.
The Bigg Battle begins when Vikas makes a genuine effort to end the differences between Benafsha and Akash. But Hina and Priyank jump in, refusing to let the matter settle.
Puneesh gets involved, loses his cool with Priyank, and has to be held back by the other housemates.
By this time, almost everyone is part of the Bigg Battle.
Just as matters started to cool off, Priyank begins a fight with Akash and, once again, everyone except Shilpa, Vikas, Mehjabi Siddiqui, Puneesh and Bandgi joined in.
Shilpa tries to calm Akash by telling him Benafsha needs medical help, but generally stays out of the fight despite extreme provocation from Hina. It looks like Shilpa’s growing popularity is making Hina insecure.
Luv Tyagi finally decides to put forth his point of view but, with all the screaming that’s going on, no one listens to him
Hina loses her cool with Akash and tries to corner him with baseless accusations to curb his growing popularity.

My Take
Hina seems to be jealous of anyone she thinks is, or is becoming, more popular than her.
Arshi Khan believes the vamp of the house is not her but Hina; I think I agree.
Benafsha said the other day that she has nothing to lose and dared the housemates to instigate her, but the truth is that she has everything to lose.
Priyank, since the day he rejoined, has become the most pointless character in the house, with Benafsha giving him stiff competition.
