Host Jay Leno smiles during a panel for his upcoming television series The Jay Leno Show at the Television Critics Association Cable summer press tour in Pasadena, California on Wednesday. Leno promised on Wednesday his new prime-time show starting September 14 would feature more comedy, fewer celebrities promoting new projects and would get guests out of their seats.

Chris Brown leaves his sentencing hearing in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Brown pleaded guilty in June to punching his then girlfriend Rihanna in Los Angeles on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February. Sentencing was postponed until August 27. He is expected to be sentenced to five years' probation.
