After the success of Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, NDTV Imagine is coming up with another unique show called Pati Patni Aur Woh. Produced by BBC, this will be a desi version of the international show Baby Borrowers.

We will see five celebrity couples turn parents for the camera. The couples are on a fast forward trip of parenthood where they have to deal with pregnancy, and take care of 'their child' through infancy, childhood, adolescence and adulthood.

The couples will spend an entire month in a closed environment, monitored by cameras, capturing their journey as first time parents.

Throughout the show, the couples will continue to live their everyday lives, fulfil their social and professional obligations that come with parenthood -- from entertaining relatives, in-laws and guests to performing ceremonies to taking part in other activities like parties and picnics, and of course, ensuring that the kids finish their homework. All this, without any domestic help and a middle class budget.

The show is likely to premier in September.

Check out the videos, and see how ready these couples are for parenthood.

Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala

It's barely a week since Rakhi Sawant got engaged to Canada-based businessman Elesh Parujanwala in a much-hyped televised swayamvar. But the two are already set to play mom and dad on telly.

Mouni -- popular for her role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi -- and Gaurav met on the sets of the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. Cupid struck, and they two were often seen stealing time and sharing cosy moments with each other.

They went on to participate in another dance reality show Tyohar Dhamaka. Interestingly, Gaurav's former girlfriend Narayani Shastri was part of both the shows.

The couple first met five years ago while shooting for a TV show's pilot episode. Although they didn't end up doing the show, the two became close friends during the shoot. Eventually, they fell in love and recently got married in Jaipur.

Gurmeet and Debina play Ram and Sita in the new telly show Ramayana.

They have known each other since they filmed a serial called Mayavi. There were reports that Gurmeet and Debina are married but the couple denies this. In fact, only recently, they admitted to be dating each other for the last four and a half years.
