Aditya Chopra is ready with his new film, Dil Bole Hadippa!, a total Punjabi-styled movie starring Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapoor. The film also sees Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra shake their sexy hips in a couple of songs.
The film has been directed by first-timer Anurag Singh, and will release on September 18.
Veera gets desperate to play cricket in the local team, so she fulfills her dream by putting on a turban and moustache and calling herself Veer. Why can't she play in the ladies' team, you ask? Well, the village that she hails from does not have a girls cricket team. Girls don't play cricket, you see.
Due to her talent on the field, she gets selected in Rohan's team. And there begins a strange and comical journey, as she falls in love with Rohan.
The story is similar to Hollywood film, She's The Man, starring Amanada Bynes and Channing Tatum.
The soundtrack of Dil Bole Hadippa! has been composed by Pritam and Julius Packiam. Lyrics have been provided by Jaideep Sahni.
The film was originally titled Hadippa. But Sanjay Leela Bhansali had already bought the rights of that title, and would not part with it even after Yash Raj sent him a special request.
Veera calls herself Veer Pratap Singh after her transformation. Not too many years ago, Shah Rukh Khan was named the same in Yash Chopra's Veer Zaara.
