After a gap of almost ten months, a Ganesh film is ready for release this Friday amidst huge publicity blitz by Coca Cola and Reliance Communications, for which the actor is a brand ambassador.

The Kannada film titled Maleyali Jotheyali is directed by Preetham Gubbi, the man who had also written the story of Mungaru Male. This is his second directorial venture.

Anjana Sukhani and Yuvika Choudhary are the heroines. Music is by Harikrishna while S Krishna is the man behind the camera.

The film is produced by Ganesh's wife Shilpa Ganesh who gave birth to a baby girl (Charithra) recently.

The baby girl seems to be lucky for Ganesh as he has signed another big film to be produced by Chandrashekhar with Priyamani in the lead.

Preetham Gubbi says that Maleyali Jotheyali is a love story with a difference. Though the film has two heroines, Gubbi says that it cannot be slotted as a triangular love story.

"Three strangers meet at a hill station where the fourth character in the film is rain! How rain and destiny play a role in the lives of these three characters forms the story of the film," says Gubbi.

Gubbi says that he has joined hands with Ganesh nearly forty months after they made history with Mungaru Male.

"We do not want to recreate Mungaru Male, but certainly the locations we have selected and the rain will certainly bring back memories of that great film."

Ganesh says that he agreed to do the film the moment he heard the script from Gubbi.

"When I started working for Mungaru Male, Bhat and Gubbi decided on the script and the dialogues. But Gubbi wanted me to involve myself and give suggestions. I was initially hesitant because Gubbi had done exceptional work before. Later I also gave him some inputs."

Both Ganesh and his wife Shilpa Ganesh, who turned producer with this film, are very much happy with the music of the film.

"Hari Krishna has delivered fantastic music. I think no other music album has received such appreciation as Maleyali Jotheyali."

Nee Sanihake Baralu, Shuruvaagidhe, the title track and Heartalli crooned by Ganesh himself have become chartbusters.
