Young hero Prithviraj's new Malayalam film Puthiya Mugham, directed by Deepan has two heroines -- National Award-winning actress Priyamani and Meera Nandan.
"Here the storyline happens at various levels, which means that the backdrop changes from family, campus, romance and action," says the director.
Prithviraj sports the same look he has for Mani Ratnam's Ravan.

As a result he undergoes a transformation and that is indeed the relevance of the title, Puthiya Mugham," says script writer M Sindhuraj, who has earlier written the script for Mulla.

In this story, my character comes across a major change in his life, after he becomes part of certain issues. But he becomes involved in it, just by chance," says Prithviraj, who is busy canning a fight scene at the location.
He has also sung the title song for the film. Kaithapram's lines have been composed by Deepak Dev.
