'Saif is perfect for me'

Ms Poo is all 'attitude and panache' in Kambakkht Ishq. Yes, we are talking about Kareena Kapoor, who has already set eyeballs rolling with her Bebo song in the film.

The diva chit-chats with TWF correspondent Sreya Basu on film, shaadi and of course, Saif Ali Khan.

So, you are repeating the attitude of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham's Ms Poo in this film?

Poo's attitude was more innocent. But here I am a 'Babe.' Hope you got what I mean!

Yes, got it. Your character is very much against marriage in the film. Is that your view in real life too?

That's a clever way of getting into my personal life! [laughs] No, I am a great believer in marriage. But this film is all about how two totally different-minded persons evolve through the course of life and fall headlong in love with each other.

'I have never been and will never be insecure about anything in life'

Do you have any insecurity that people might prefer Bond girl Denise Richards over you in the film?

The reverse can also happen. Just kidding! Denise is too beautiful and gorgeous. Though she has a brief role in the film, she will definitely touch people's hearts with her performance. She is a part of the love triangle, that includes me and Akshay as well.

As for the insecurity part, I have never been and will never be insecure about anything in life... be it off screen or on screen.

Sylvester Stallone has said that you are one of the most beautiful actors he has seen so far. Elated?

Koi shaaq? I mean, who won't be on cloud nine to get compliments from the Sylvester Stallone! And what a warm person he is! A perfect gentleman.

'I would be an idiot not to do 3 Idiots'

Kambakkht Ishq and Saif's Love Aaj Kal is releasing almost back to back. Are you nervous for yourself or Saif?

I am not nervous. But I am praying that both our films do well and people like our performances. Love Aaj Kal is Saif's first production, so double prayers for him.

Do you regret not being a part of Love Aaj Kal?

No... Deepika [Padukone] suits the role to a T.

But you said at an awards function that you are a bit disappointed for not being a part of the film.

Yes, initially, I was a bit down because the script is good and any actor would love to be a part of it. But ultimately, it's the director's [Imtiaz Ali] decision. Neither Saif nor I can do anything about it. But now that I have seen a few cuts of the film, I am convinced that Imtiaz took the right decision.

You are also doing 3 Idiots with Aamir Khan. How's the experience?

Are you kidding? What do you mean by 'how's the experience'? It's a Rajkumar Hirani-Aamir Khan combo...I would be an idiot not to do it.

Apparently you cried after listening to the script of 3 Idiots?

Yes, I did. It was the first time that a script made me cry. Now please don't ask the storyline, I won't tell you... wait and watch.

And what about playing a terrorist in Jehaad?

Jehaad is a Karan Johar film. But this time Karan is stepping outside his romantic and social genre. Saif is my hero in the film, but it's not the 'dance-round-the-tree' romance that we do in the film. And let me clear this confusion: Saif is the terrorist in the film, not me.

'Saif wants to announce our marriage to the world'

This interview won't be complete without a couple of questions on Saif and you...

Ohhhh... this is boring. The entire world knows more about us than we do! Okay, shoot.

You just said that you are pro-marriage. So, when are you getting married?

Not tomorrow, or day after tomorrow...[laughs]

See, to both Saif and me, marriage is the purest form of love, and trust me, we will never hide our marriage from anyone. Did we hide our relationship from anyone? In fact, Saif wants to announce our marriage to the world the very day we select a date. But with both of us overloaded with work, we don't thing the date is going to be fixed in another two-three years.

Do you think Saif will be a good husband?

Saif is perfect for me.
