The launch party of Honour Killing, held over the weekend, saw Dharmendra as its chief guest. The film stars Pakistani actors Javed and Zara Shaikh, and is made by an Indian team -- producers Manmohan Singh and Harjinder Singh and director Avtar Bhogal.

As the event was in progress, it was amazing to see 70-year-olds greeting 70-year-olds, 60-year-old greeting 60-year-olds and so on. It was almost as if each decade in the industry had formed their own clubs.

Dharmendra charmed the audiences, and spoke at length about the India Pakistan friendship. In fact, the star even dished out some exquisite poetry he had penned himself.

He talked about love transcending barriers, and borders coming down. He spoke about one world and one country without which there would be total destruction.
