Abbas-Mastan -- who have directed films like Race, Aitraaz and Badshah -- will now co-produce Life Partner. Directed by writer-turned-director Rumi Jaffrey, the film stars Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Genelia D'Souza and Prachi Desai.

Karan (Fardeen Khan) and Sanjana (Genelia D'Souza) are madly in love with each other, and are keen on getting married.

On the other hand, Bhavesh (Tusshar Kapoor) plans on an arranged marriage with Prachi (Prachi Desai), as his family comes first.

Jeet (Govinda) is a divorce lawyer, who doesn't believe in marriage. He can't be monogamous and is sometimes responsible for his clients' divorce and ends up fighting their cases too.

This is Rumi Jaffrey's second directorial film after the Amitabh Bachchan-Salman Khan-Proyanka Chopra starrer God Tussi Great Ho. Music has been composed by Pritam.

Life Partner is slated to release on August 14.
