Finally, the long wait is going to be over. The most awaited movie of the year, Magadheera -- watch the trailer here -- is reaching the theatres this Friday.

Many producers have postponed their releases for the fear of clashing their films with Magadheera. That is the kind of frenzy the film has created all over Andhra Pradesh.

Magadheera stars Ram Charan Teja, son of mega star and Praja Rajyam founder Chiranjeevi, and Kajal Agarwal. The movie is directed by SS Rajamouli.

For the first time in his career, Rajamouli who is well known for making big budget action and thriller films loaded with lot of fantasy elements, is making a love story.

Magadheera is made with a huge budget of over Rs 35 crore by Allu Arvind, a big producer who has made many Telugu films with Chiranjeevi. His recent success was Aamir Khan's Ghajini.

Ram Charan Teja has had a fantastic debut in Puri Jagannadh's Chirutha. And, he has been working for nearly two years on Magadheera.

SS Rajamouli has based his story on the concept that "Love is Immortal".

"Love remains eternal and it will follow generations and generations. There is always a big victory for Love" is the basic story line on which the entire script has been written.

Rajamouli has made several blockbusters like Simhadhri, Vikramarkudu, Chathrapathi, Yamadonga, Sye and Student No 1.

Rajamouli is yet to face failure in his career as a director. He dreams big and makes commercial films which appeal to all the sections of the audience.

The trailers on the Net and TV channels have created a huge hype about the movie. The added bonus is that Chiranjeevi has shaken a leg with his son in the much publicised Bangaru Kodi Petta remix song.

The original song was from Chiranjeevi's block buster film Gharana Mogudu directed by K.Raghavendra Rao. (The film was a remake of Kannada film Anuraaga Aralithu starring Dr Raj Kumar in the lead)

Keeravani has composed the music, and the audio released on June 28 is already topping the charts.

At the audio release function, Rajamouli said only one thing -- that Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal share good chemistry on screen!
