Rakhi glams up for a grand sangeet

Preparations for Rakhi Sawant's sangeet are on in full swing. The beautiful bride-to-be, whose show on NDTV Imagine -- Rakhi Ka Swayamvar -- is winding down, is taking care of all aspects to ensure that her sangeet is truly a grand one.

And that is why two of Bollywood's ace designers -- Neeta Lulla and Farah Ali Khan -- have been roped in to dress the bride.

To make the occasion a perfect blend of contemporary and traditional festivities, Lulla has designed an indo-western fish cut lehenga in bright turquoise blue for the sangeet. The corset and the skirt is enhanced with silver and swarovski work.

While Neeta Lulla takes care of the outfit, Farah Ali Khan will create intricate designs in diamond to complete the exquisite look.

"For the sangeet Rakhi has more Indo-Western look. I felt she could carry off an ornate diamond choker, which would complement the blue lehenga that Neeta has designed for her," says Farah.
