Bollywood is always open to inspiration. But one thing that has remained constant is its love affair with the moon. And that's reflected in the songs.

The latest film to have a song sung to the moon is Short Kut -- The Con is On, picturised on Akshaye Khanna and Amrita Rao. It was shot in Phuket, Thailand.

The song goes like this: Kal nau baje tum chand dekhna, main bhi dekhoonga aur yun doono ki nigahen chand par miljayegi.

Sudhir Mishra's Khoya Khoya Chand, starring Shiney Ahuja and Soha Ali Khan, was a nostalgic take on the film industry of the 1960s.

While the audience rejected the film, they loved Shantanu Moitra's music, especially the title song, Khoye Khoye Chand ki firaaq mein.
