Size zero, Atkins diet, yoga, aerobics... call it what you will, but celebs, especially the ladies, are looking slimmer and fitter these days.
While some are motivated to lose weight for films -- usually a scene requiring them to wear a bikini -- others just want to be healthier.
So without further ado, we bring you hotties who went from flab to fab:
Kareena Kapoor
Much has been written about Kareena's size zero. It started with Tashan, where she was required to put on a bikini. Under the watchful eye of fitness guru Rujuta Diwekar, Kareena slowly achieved her ultra slim avatar through a combination of diet, exercise and yoga.
The actress whose fashion sense [or lack of] has become a talking point has always been a little on the heavier side. However, where there's a will, there's a way, and the actress recently lost oodles of weight. Her secret? Simple lifestyle changes.
Another petite actress who recently stunned everyone with her slim and trim avatar is Rani. And the secret behind this stunning transformation is fitness trainer Satyajeet Chaurasia -- the man who responsible for Aamir Khan's awesome body in Ghajini.
But the look didn't come cheap nor easy. Rani spent nearly Rs 7 lakh on her new gym and sweated out everyday for two hours. She is also watching what she eats.
Like Amrita Arora, Shilpa was never fat to begin with. A combination of yoga, exercise and diet however, has further whittled down the actress' figure to a sleeker shape.
And for those of you wanting to look like her, the fitness freak even has her own yoga video which she launched last year.
Marriage and motherhood seems to agree with Kareena's elder sister. In fact, she looks stunning these days. Karisma says that her daughter keeps her on her toes.
