Big B's new abode? Times Square!

After London, another Amitabh Bachchan wax figure made it to New York on Thursday. The figure which was dressed in a traditional black sherwani suit with a gold and black scarf draped around the neck, is the first to be part of Madame Tussauds New York's all-new Bollywood Zone at Times Square.

A troupe of dancers dressed in colourful lehenga skirts performed as they helped unveil the wax figure of the star.

Besides Amitabh's wax figure, there is also a replica of the Taj Mahal, videos of Indian dancers and an area where visitors can pose as Bollywood stars -- all designed to re-create the experience of being on a Bollywood film set with Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan will also become the first from Bollywood to feature at Madame Tussauds' Hong Kong branch. Amitabh's wax figure at Madame Tussaud's in London will travel to the Hong Kong branch and will be displayed there for five months starting August 9.

After taking over London, New York and Hong Kong, it's anyone's guess where the Big B will next be sighted.
