Last updated on: November 25, 2009 14:21 IST
Kareena Kapoor

Looking for a laptop? How about letting Kareena Kapoor's size zero guide you to one? Yes, that is one of the gimmicks companies are adapting to push their products.

And the bigger the star, the better. We bring you the newest ads to hit your television screens.

Check out the following new videos and vote for your favourite star ad at the end of this slide show.

We begin with the sexy Vaio ad featuring Kareena in a sleek black mini dress, sashaying her way into a subway train. The message is clear: ultra thin is sexy especially when it comes in metallic black.

Hrithik Roshan

While Kareena's USP is her ultra slim figure, Hrithik's blue-robed, modern-day Pied Piper of sorts had to be achieved around his current hairstyle, which he is sporting for his forthcoming film, Guzaarish.

So we have a quaint-looking Hrithik dancing to Prabhudeva's choreography and playing a flute to lure rats -- who stand for restrictions and conditions in the telecom space -- to their deaths.

Chitrangada Singh

The star of Sudhir Mishra's 2003 film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi makes us believe that all signs of ageing miraculously disappear by using Garnier Agelift product.

Now if only we all could really look like her.

Aamir Khan's Tata Sky ad

Aamir Khan

Trust Aamir to be different.

After playing the dual role of man and woman and a disgruntled Sardar to promote the brand, Aamir took on the role of a ventriloquist infusing life into ACTVE -- a loveable mascot of Tata Sky's interactive services.

The campaign encompasses the comical squabbles of Aamir and ACTVE, as they showcase the benefits of Actve services of Tata Sky. One look at the conversation between Aamir and the puppet and you'll be hooked -- chuckling at Aamir's seemingly ignorance and Actve's grievances and complaints of his lack of a life!

Though Aamir playfully expresses his sympathies to Actve, his mischievous grin is highly unmistakable.

Anushka Sharma

Shah Rukh Khan's sweet-faced heroine in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi replaced Deepika Padukone as the brand ambassador of the hair oil.

The ad shows Anushka's long and gorgeous hair losing its lustre which only can be revived with a dose of hot Champi.
