Jayeebhava, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's film, a scion of the Nandamuri family will hit the theatres on October 23.

The Telugu film is being produced by the actor himself through the NTR banner and directed by newcomer Kondepati Naren.

The slim, svelte and charming Hansika Motwani will be sharing screen space with Kalyan Ram.

Though Kalyan Ram did his engineering and later a Masters from University of Illinois, Chicago, he was bitten by the acting bug (as it runs in the family).

He has done films like Athanokkade (helmed by Surendar Reddy) and Hare Ram (helmed by Harshavardhan). Both these films were produced by him and were successful at the box office. Kalyan Ram won accolades for his acting particularly in the second film for his dual role.

Kalyan Ram says that he is doing something different in Jayeebhava. The title is interesting as it has to do with someone victorious. Whether the hero is victorious in love or action or at both, is to be seen.

"The movie has some funny moments and it is made with the image of the hero in mind. Kalyan Ram and the film will be presented in a stylish way. About 40 per cent of the film has been shot in Hong Kong, Malaysia and surrounding islands, while the rest of it is filmed in and around Hyderabad. It is a colourful entertaining movie," says Rajiv Nair, art director.

Hansika Motwani, the heroine of this film does at least one or two Telugu films a year. She was seen in Maska last year along with Ram and in a cameo in Billa (the remake of the Tamil Billa, which is in turn a remake of the Hindi Don) this year.

There are a host of other artistes giving company like Brahmanandam, J P Reddy, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, Ali and Venu Madhav.

The story and dialogues of the film is by B V S Ravi, while the camera is handled by D Sivendra. Thaman S (of Kick fame) scores music, which has received a fairly good response.
