Khullam khulla pyaar karenge, hum dono!

Remember Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh's infectious declaration of romance in Khel Khel Mein?

On screen, movie stars are unabashed about indulging in a physical show to demonstrate fondness. Off screen, however, it's an altogether different story, especially with the paparazzi keeping a close eye on their each and every move.

Still, not all movie stars are conscious of rendering hugs and kisses to their companions or co-stars in the presence of cameras.

And so from Tom Cruise to Shah Rukh Khan, here's a look at some of celebrities indulging in PDA (public display of affection).

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes

Jumping on Oprah's couch, popping the question at Eiffel Tower, smooching on the red carpet, followed by a fairy tale wedding in Italy, Tom Cruise re-defined besotted, leading to much criticism among fans and media. That's the Katie Holmes effect for you. And from the looks of it, there's no stopping this golden duo of Hollywood.

What happens when the sexiest man and woman of Hollywood come together? They make never-ending headlines.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie remind us what makes them so written about by getting up, close and personal in the middle of a red carpet event of a movie premiere.

Madonna and Britney Spears

Spontaneity can be quite a tricky emotion. Madonna and Britney Spears raised quite a few eye brows when they went wild 'expressing' themselves in an extended lip lock while performing at the MTV Music Video Awards.

Katrina Kaif and Amrita Arora

But, of course, Bollywood's demure citizen stick to a coy 'muah muah' like Katrina Kaif and Amrita Arora demonstrate to us during a party.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor

From tattooing Kareena on his wrist to singing her praises in print, Saif Ali Khan is one happy romantic. The Love Aaj Kal star conveys some more affection by feeding mithai to Bebo. Cho chweet!

Known to be wonderfully generous and helpful towards his inexperienced co-stars, SRK plants a well-meaning peck on a pleased-as-punch Anushka's cheeks during the promotion of their movie, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty

The kiss that caused a lot of hullaballoo. Richard Gere goes for Bollywood's pretty woman with much gusto. She doesn't look too excited about it. Nor was the moral police.
