Many child stars, like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Scarlett Johansson and Miley Cyrus, are born under the star sign Sagittarius, a new study has shown.

For the new study, researchers analysed the star signs of 100 of the most famous child celebrities, from the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Shirley Temple and Hayley Mills to present day stars.

November born hotties

The research was carried out by television channel Cartoon Network for launch of the Ben 10 children's talent awards.

And they found that children born under Sagittarius -- between November 22 and December 21 -- are twice as likely to make it big in showbiz than those born under any other star sign.

Driven, ambitious and broad-minded

Eighteen percent of child stars have been Sagittarians. At second place, Virgos, Cancerians, Librans and Aquarians can manage nine percent of child stars.

Young pop stars, who are Sagittarians, are said to be driven, ambitious and broad-minded, but can be argumentative and blunt.

Others in the group include singer-actor Donny Osmond, Emmy-award winning actress Jenny Agutter, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, Bruce Lee and Jermaine Jackson.

Virgos rule too

At second place were stars born in the Virgo sun sign, including the likes of Michael Jackson, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, and Harry Potter stars Rupert Grint and Tom Felton, who plays Malfoy.

Pre-destined success

Taurians came in last in the child star zodiac with just five members, including Shirley Temple.

'It is interesting to see that the success of our top celebrities literally is pre-destined by the stars,' the Telegraph quoted Barnaby Dawe, marketing boss of Turner Entertainment Channels as saying.
